Applause to the bartender who was an ace on his beer recommendation. I'm usually a wine drinker but the night we stopped in I was in the mood for a beer with pizza. Lots of craft beer selections and interesting pizza ingredients. The Caesar salad had an interesting twist and LOTS of garlic. Quite good. Would definitely make a return visit the next time we are in Fayetteville.

Yeah, I know it's organic and that makes the price premium there but I honestly don't see the correlation between product and price. Their pizzas aren't very big and at that price, it just doesn't make sense. Compared to MJ's in Springdale which does the exact same concept but with much better pizza more in line with what you expect to pay for a pizza, I couldn't see why you'd ever choose this place. Seriously, if you want a hand tossed, wood fired pizza just go to MJ's in Springdale and you can choose the size of your pizza and it'll taste significantly better.

Growing up with Italian-style pizza ovens in our home in the US and Italy, it can be difficult to find local Italian-style pizza: thin crust, crispy edge, and generally light fare. But the pizze here comes close. Some flavor combinations are for American palettes, and can be sweet, salty, and lacking depth. However the CURLY PIZZA is filled with complicated flavors and wonderful textures, all on a perfect crust. Add to that a locally brewed beer, and a simple nut apple salad, and your dinner is complete. Wonderful mood for somewhat loud, fun setting too.

** if you are looking for Chicago deep-dish style, this isn't place, Wood Stone is ideal for a large group of friends and family, munching on a crunchy crust (cornicione), with a chilled local beer, and fresh greens,

The atmosphere of this restaurant was upscale but relaxed. It is away from the square and Dickson street, so there was lots of parking, and it was easy to find. We had a lunch size grilled garden pizza and the wood-fired mushrooms. The pizza had a pesto base with grilled zucchini, squash, onion, shiitake, feta and mozzarella toppings. It was topped with a balsamic reduction. It was the strangest pizza I've ever eaten, but it was good. The crust was fairly thin and tasty. The lunch size pizza was quite small. The wood-fired mushrooms were 5 or 6 large white button mushrooms on a base of polenta topped with feta, onions and a vinaigrette topping. It was served warm. Again, it was different but good. If you prefer standard/traditional types of pizza, I'm not sure the craft pizzas are for you. If you are adventurous, it works. They also have build your own pizza selections.

A group of teachers stopped I. For a quiet lunch on a cold say. The dining room was comfortable and clean. The pizza options were plentiful. We each got a small which was the equivalent of Pizza Hut personal pan. All three flavors were tasty though the three pigs was the favorite. This would be a great spot to sit in the patio when weather is good
