Forget about hotels, facilities, holiday playgrounds- if you want that sort of experience. Then maybe the hacienda is not for you. An authentic taste of truly Spanish history, culture and traditions and atmosphere in a rural context is what is on offer. The approach is personal, informed, and tailored. My only reservation in recommending a stay at the Hacienda (Country estate or "Home farm" as we in England know it).

For me, it is idyllic Some may think differently. They should stay in Ibiza - and appreciate what they are missing

Room Tip: Ask for guidance. The management (family) are reliable

We wanted to get away from the city centre. What an experience this was ! The buildings ooze history. The lady from the reception was very friendly and told all we wanted to know about the history of the place. Many years ago it was used by the knights of St. John. The farm delivered horses and riders for the crusaders, as a tax to the king of Spain ! The building is beautiful, although some repairs would help. The rooms and hallways, staircases, all beautifull. The dinner was good. The same lady was very helpfull with making our choices. We really enjoyed her friendly stories about the food, and the wine as well. We slept very well, although I expected to maybe see a ghost wandering through my room at night... No luck though...

Room Tip: The walls are thick. If you want WiFi in your room, ask for it specificly, they put you near an extender.

This is kind of a funky little place to stay at, but I really enjoyed it. It's not like staying at a luxury hacienda that is restored to the dime with period precise decor. This is more like the 'budget' version of hacienda. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly, the room was large (but smelled little bit like moth balls), and the grounds were fun to explore. And it was SUPER quiet. Plus, it's close to Carmona which is a fabulous little jewel just several kilometers away. Overall....it's a cool experience to stay at a hacienda.

Rural location, spacious rooms, in the middle of olive country. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Exterior is rough. It is not for every traveler - seems to cater to local Seville residents looking to get away. But we enjoyed it.

A find of a hotel outside of Carmona - about 7 km, in a rural and quite location. Warm welcome to a Nice inside With a lot of charm and character. Great looking rooms. The outside of the buildings need a lot more care.
