Thoroughly enjoyed a few days at this hotel while in Spain with family & friends. Flew into Malaga airport & we could get the train to within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. (Los Boliches stop - 25 min train ride - cost €2.70 & trains run every 20 mins from the airport). We arrived very late & could get food next door at a lively bar/restaurant. My room had a spacious balcony with a seaview even though I had just booked a standard room, so I was delighted. Right on the beach, lovely promenade walks in both directions with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars closeby. We were booked in on half-board. I really loved the variety of food available for breakfast & dinner. My friend, a coeliac, was very well looked after in terms of providing gluten-free options & alternatives. Lots of gluten-free bread & cakes for breakfast. One chef in particular said that he could make anything that she wanted gluten-free & cooked up a special dinner for her based on this. The rooms were large & clean. I was really impressed with the fact that 40% of Ilunion Hotels workforce have a disability. I think that this commitment to empowering workers is hugely commendable & I hope more employers follow suit. I found the staff very pleasant, friendly & helpful. We were extremely lucky to have great weather for the end of October/start of November...Thoroughly enjoyed a few days at this hotel while in Spain with family & friends.
