We stayed here for a week in late July, having booked a last minute package holiday.
The hotel is small but very clean and in an amazing location, close to everything. Our stay included breakfast which was nicely laid out each morning, and the staff were friendly too.
The pool does get incredibly busy- not helped by people putting towels on the lounges at 9am! But we visited in peak season so I suppose that's to be expected and it's a small pool. Overall I'd recommend and I would stay here again.

First time staying here and we will almost definitely be back. In a quiet (ish) road very near the Bacon De Europa but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was a plus, especially as it served from 08.30 till 11.30, lots of choice from fresh fruit to full cooked. Staff all courteous and pleasant. No evening bar which was nice, as it kept the hotel quiet in the evening. Theres a little bar opposite open from 7pm till 12 if requiring a drink before heading back to hotel. We had a pool view room which was a very good size a huge bathroom with hairdryer if required. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels every day. Only thing on the downside was the pool area filled quickly as only a small amount of sunbeds, this didn't really bother us as we go out alot, but may matter to some people. We will definitely be back.

11 of us stayed at various hotels and hostels in Nerja for a week's jolly this last June, we chose the Nerja Princ due to location and price.
Firstly the location....if you want to be near everything but not be right on top of it I couldn't recommend the hotels location any more, it's perfectly set on a quietish road with it's own small selection of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby....only a five minute walk takes you to the main drag and Balcon de Europa itself.
There are rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking the road without a balcony but they're compensated by being huge, almost an apartment....at the back the rooms are smaller but with a balcony overlooking the pool area and sea view in the distance, a couple are at floor level so have terraces.....although smaller they were more than an adequate size, with free aircon and safe for a small charge (€2 per day), plenty of storage and unusually loads of hangers.
The breakfast area is downstairs and is ok not brilliant but far from terrible, often they run out of hot food due to small batches being cooked.
The main issue I had with the hotel was the pool area, although a nice area and the pool itself was warm and an ok size for the guests involved the beds were a problem....the guests would place their towels on the beds at the crack of dawn as there were only 20 available by 9am they were almost always taken and many were then left all day unattended by guests who had gone off to the beach or wherever.....I thought this was pretty unacceptable and as the staff didn't speak much English (although in fairness they were pleasant enough) it seemed pointless complaining.
The bar was just small and part of the breakfast area, the staff were friendly and very helpful though and would bring drinks out to the pool area for you with no hesitation.
There were towels available from a small outhouse building near the pool which was quite a nice touch, no charge again.
The Jacuzzi spa sadly didn't work all the time we were there which is a real shame as after doing the river Chillar walk I could've done with a blast of the jets and bubbles on my aching body but hey ho.
Overall the hotel is fine location wise but just needs to sort out it's pool area policy and needs more bar area chairs and tables....
Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely.

Just returned after two weeks at this hotel, rooms were clean, breakfast was good with plenty of choice, if you're looking for a relaxing holiday with great atmosphere this hotel us a little gem. Very well run, staff very accommodating, room service daily with fresh towels and bed linen. Would definitely recommend. We will be back xxxx

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view, we didn't have on arrival, but asked to change rooms and they allowed us to.

Room was clean and the maid service were very good. We had a lovely view from the balcony, which was spacious with table and chairs. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, we like that it was half ways between Playa de Burianna and the balcon as we like Burianna for day time and the main square area and side streets for evening. The guy who does breakfast made us an unbelievable Sangria one evening and we had it out on our balcony.

Room Tip: We were lucky to get a poolside room on the 2nd floor, I would recommend requesting upper levels and poolside.
