This was the most amazing way to spend a few hours for anyone who loves alpacas and for those ready to fall in love with them! The trek was interesting, educational and fun. Ian, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. On the trek each of us led an alpaca and they were so well trained they virtually led themselves. We walked through the village of Stiffkey and across the marshes seeing the beautiful scenery and wildlife. At the end of the trek we fed the alpacas apples and bread. We will all definitely go again!

We have just got back from walking alpaca’s in wells next to the sea, Had such a great time they are all such characters and we became a tourist attraction as other visitors to wells had never seen anything like it. I spent an hour and a half smiling constantly, this is excellent value for money and our guide Ian2 as he asked us to call him gave a great history of wells as we were walking round. Highly recommend this if you are visiting in the area.

I've visited twice now and loved it on both occasions and will definately be going again. On both occasions we've had Ian 2 as our guide and it's clear from the outset that this is not just a 'job', it's a passion. For anyone concerned that these lovely animals are in any way 'exploited' as a tourist attraction, they're not. All the Alpacas (all males) have been rescued from either farms where they're no longer wanted and/or from slaughter. Before the walk, Ian 2 gave us an introduction to each of the Alpacas, where they're from and what each of their personalities is like. The Alpacas are so relaxed and happy to mooch along through the fields and bridlepaths. Ian 2 would let them stop at their favourite spots to chow down on the grass and have a roll around (they like to do that from time to time) before continuing at their own leisurely pace. Along the way Ian 2 told us more about each of our Alpacas, about their little quirks and traits and their relationships with the rest of the group. I won't give too much else away, all i can really suggest is that you go and do it, you will not regret it at all...! At the end of the walk, we lead them in to their home and we had an opportunity to take photos and feed them (they LOVE chopped apples and bread)! All in all it's an excellent day out and I cannot recommend it enough...just don't forget to take the chopped apples!

Ian 2 took us on our hour long Alpaca Trekking experience and he was fantastic, friendly, informative and you could tell he absolutely loved the Alpacas.
I don't want to give too much away about the trek, as I think it's nice for people to experience it without hearing too much beforehand, but I couldn't not leave a review about how great it was, as we all had a lovely time.

The Alpacas are calm natured and such endearing animals, each with their own personalities.

Worth every penny. Oh, and don't forget to bring lots of sliced apple with you for their post-walk treat.
