We had a lovely week at Harbour Cottage, it's in a terrific location near the quay, and the property itself is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. There are some steep staircases and changes of level which the elderly should take care with, however this is a period property and this is to be expected. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't any parking as stated, but the £27.50 for a week's parking nearby was good value overall. Our dog was very happy to sleep in the kitchen. The downstairs has a tiled floor which was ideal, and the courtyard was paved and fully enclosed so dogs can do their business safely and then not traipse mud through the house. We would happily stay here again. Great spot, and you feel at home because the fittings and furniture are good quality, no expense has been spared. Thank you Harbour Cottage!
Good situation near the town at the end of the beach road. Good to have a parking space. Shame that we were expected to fix the broken dishwasher ourselves but couldn't.
Well presented with everything you need. Childrens park outside the front door.
Great location with parking
We had such a great long weekend here with the dog. The beach is lovely and can be walked to in about 15 minutes, and there are more walks around the area so a fantastic area for those who enjoy long walks or have a dog. The cottage itself is in a great location with everything in walking distance, with lots of nice shops and places to eat near by. The car parking space at the pub is really convenient as it is literally across the road. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and the space is well utilised. The only downside was the short time that we stayed, so we are hoping to go back for longer next year.

Stayed here for a week, 4 adults and 2 children. Cottage is right in the middle of the town, situated in front of the children's play area. Is well equipped for families, washing machine & microwave etc. Stairs to attic room are extremely steep, to be fair we were warned. Didn't feel comfortable having my children sleeping up there because of stairs, would be fine for slightly older children though, mine are 4 & 7. Walking distance to beach, although there is a train, and within walking distance of everything within Wells. Parking space provided at pub opposite which was beyond valuable. We had 2 cars which proved to be a problem in August as all the car parks were rammed, I believe it is possible to negotiate another space at the pub, well worth bearing in mind. Long term car park usually full by 9.30 so if you went out for a quick trip you struggled on return. Great cottage
