“A very comfortable and relaxing holiday cottage”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We had a lovely 4 nights at Gilders Green. The cottage is so comfortable and relaxing, well equipped and spotless. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of North Berwick which has several nice restaurants. We hope to return soon.

“Modern and well-equipped cottage in excellent location”

This is a lovely cottage. Tastefully decorated throughout and very comfortable. So relaxing that we didn't want to leave it each day. 5 minute's walk to the town centre and train station, with direct trains to Edinburgh. Well-equipped kitchen. There are nice touches like washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets and soap powder for the washing machine in the kitchen, and soft throws for extra warmth on the beds.
The welcome pack was one of the nicest we have had. It included a bottle of wine and a tin of biscuits.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 22 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We found the cottage cosy & comfortable, well maintained, although the bathroom would benefit from having a walk in shower, with a bathroom extract fan.

Thank you for your review. I do agree that a walk in shower would be more ideal than the electric 'over the bath' shower we have at the moment, however due to space constraints we are unfortunately unable to fit this in and keep the bath also. We believe the bath is essential as we get lots of families with young kids who prefer the bath to a shower. If we ever extend, we would most definitely convert to a walk in plus bath! We appreciate your feedback.
