“Spectacular place to stay”
Reviewed 25 September 2019 for a stay in August 2019

St. Pancras was a lovely and very comfortable place to stay. The church had been beautifully converted. Loved the atmosphere on the The Rousdon estate. We did some walks but didn't have time to go down to the beach. We visited Lyme Regis, Seaton and Beer. Wished we had longer than a week. Would love to come back in the winter with the family to enjoy the log burner and play games.

So walking through the door and what a sight, beautiful interior and a fire already lit in the log Burner and Milk in the fridge.
So we used this converted chapel as a base of operations for seeing the sights of Dorset as well as visiting some of our favourite places. One thing of note is that from here your around a 15 minute drive to Axminster and the River Cottage Canteen and enroute you pass by River Cottage HQ.
Places visited from here were Lyme Regis, Axminster, Bovington Tank Musuem, Mapperton Manor & Gardens & Seeton Wetland reserve.
The Chapel is situated on a private estate with the manor house along with three lodge houses and access down to the coastal path.

Thanks for allowing us to use this delightful property

“So good, we went back again!”
Reviewed 7 August 2018 for a stay in July 2018

We loved St Pancras so much when we visited in 2017, that we went back again this year! Happily we were not disappointed. The house is immaculately clean, with a vase of flowers and card to welcome us back from Anne, the owner. The attention to detail is great, right down to providing shampoo and conditioner! Everything we needed in the house was provided, you can happily cook a three course meal in the very well equipped kitchen, there were ample clean towels for us (family of 5) games for the children, and books and dvd’s for all ages. We live on a farm in a remote area, and we still found St Pancras and the whole Rousdon estate a lovely peaceful place. Our children found their beds very comfortable but we found the one on the mezzanine quite uncomfortable, but that could be a matter of taste. It wouldn’t stop me highly recommending St Pancras to anyone.
This year, our highlight in Lyme Regis was mackerel fishing, followed by barbecuing them on the beach, a must for children and adults alike!
Thank you again for a lovely stay Anne.

We appreciate your comments regarding the bed on the mezzanine floor.
This has now been replaced with a new king-size.

“Superb church conversion & lovely accommodation”
Reviewed 19 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Had a wonderful time here. The photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful building, peaceful & spacious private estate.

Comfortable & ideal for a break from busy lives these days. Everything you could want from a quiet break, very convenient for Lyme Regis.
