Lavender Cottage is a lovely little ramshackle cottage in Lyme Regis ideal for a family who want somewhere very close to the high street and the coast. Albeit in need of some TLC the charm of the place is very nice and is great for short breaks in Lyme.

This cottage is right in the heart of Lyme Regis - a stroll away from the sea and surrounded by good pubs and restaurants. The Italian restaurant less than a 100 yards away was great for an informal meal and the Hix Oyster Bar and Fish Restaurant was perfect for a special evening, and only a 15 minute stroll away. The cottage would comfortably accommodate a family of four and the beds/bathrooms/facilities are all good. Would agree with other reviewers that the garden and garden furniture would benefit from a little TLC but otherwise couldn't fault it.
3 reviews Had a lovely long weekend break at this quaint, cosy cottage. Right on the doorstep of the beach, shops and great views. The beds were really comfortable which is something we all hope is not going to be an issue. The cottage is well equipped and frankly, perfect. The only down side was the garden being overgrown and broken furniture in it which was a real shame considering the spec of the cottage.

2 reviews Stayed here for a week in June. Cottage is in fantastic location, only 5 mins from beach and High Street. You can even avoid those famous steep hills in Lyme by staying here. Cottage clean and tidy, having 2 bathrooms is very useful. Also having access to a garden for relaxing, sunbathing and hanging out the washing also helpful.
