We organised an all day party for my 80th birthday booking the Marine Theatre in Lyme and Ali (Dotties Kitchen) put the general organisation together. This she did superbly and we had two sit down meals, lots of conversation and an evening Barn Dance. Everybody agreed that the food was delicious and the music just what we wanted.

Dottie's Kitchen recently did all of the catering for our wedding in Lyme Regis, including a cream tea, Lebanese evening meal and late night snacks for 150 people. They were amazing from start to finish - not only incredible food but the most lovely team. Ali wanted to make our vision a reality from the very first time we met, and it was better than we ever could have imagined. Thank you so much Ali and Team! Jess and Alex

For Midweek September, Lyme was very busy. We had almost given up hope of being able to sit outside for lunch. Then we found Dotties. Great location and theatre seems amazing.
Between us we had Greek salads, wraps and local bottled beer.
Lovely food, friendly staff and great view. We were lucky enough to grab the tables on the small balcony

We were so relieved to find that Dottie Kitchen hadn't disappeared; the new setting means that the delicious wraps and juices can be enjoyed sitting down with a view. Fabulous food.

Dotties is a hit with the whole family and usually the first recommendation from my son when visitors arrive! We were very pleased with the move to the Marine Theatre which means you can now sit down as well as take away.

We arrived at about 1 o'clock on the 17th as the heavens opened so our party of 8 was at the back of the queue and perched on various seats around the cafe. Staff were helpful and friendly and informed us that there might be a little wait as the rain had caused a sudden rush.

The wait was negligible and the wraps were delicious as usual. Stuffed full of fresh, homemade ingredients they always leave you feeling pleasantly satisfied. Staff came to check which items were for the children in the party so they could make theirs first which was really helpful.

Do check serving/opening times though ... we stopped by on the 14th after walking from Charmouth ... we were a hungry group of 12 looking for takeaway wraps but were turned away as it was 14:55 and too late to make wraps - they could only serve cake at that time of day !

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We are open Monday to Friday 10-3 Sorry you couldn't get a wrap at 2:55 we must have run out of produce. We cook fresh every day and unfortunately when it's gone it's gone. We are based at the theatre so closing at 3 enables us to turn the theatre bar back into a bar rather than cafe. We hope to see to see you again.
