Alisha was very welcoming & friendly & most accommodating to my unusual room requests. We had ‘Bagshaw’ A delightful roomy room. Loved the area between the suites with the Mermaid coffee table, large ornate fire place & comfy leather sofa. Very pleasant place to curl up with my book, a cool room on such a hot day & flooded by light from the skylight.
Dinner: We had a drink in the bar while waiting & were taken through by the charming bar man when our meal was ready.
The food was superb. Perfectly cooked & presented. We enjoyed a leisurely meal, waited on by attentive staff. We started with Baked Camembert for two served with chunky bread & vegetable sticks. Followed by the biggest of big Sea Food Platters - it was all absolutely scrummy. Will most certainly stay here again if getting an early ferry & it’s only 10 minutes from the terminMore
