We stayed 2 nights at this fabulous hotel. Everything was superb, the hotel was so warm and inviting, this is especially given its location in beautiful but rugged West Wales. The lounge/bar has very comfortable sofas, where guests can relax and enjoy the most stunning sea view in comfort. Our room overlooked the estuary and it was very modern and functional whilst retaining the comfort and character of the hotel. The bathroom was well equipped and the heated towel rail over the bath ensured we had warm towels after a nice shower. Only suggestion would be that a hand rail would be beneficial as the bath is quite deep, and it was an effort to climb out.

The restaurant was first class in all respects, firstly the staff were very accommodating and Gem made sure all the guests were happy, special mention to Tom for being such an attentive and friendly waiter. The food was fantastic, huge portions that did not compromise on quality. My sirloin steak was delicious and my partner;s cod was equally good. The chips were the best we have tasted for years. Can also recommend the home made lasagne and garlic bread. There is a comprehensive wine list at reasonable prices. The flat rock bistro has the balance right, excellent quality meals at fair prices, a winner. The breakfast was so so tasty cooked to order and huge, so beware. Fresh local produce that again smacked of quality, and demonstrated that the chef really cared about the food she served. The breakfast waitress was really cheery and found time to chat and wish us a nice day, despite being busy. How nice to be treated as individuals, we appreciated this

Have to thank all the staff for their service and friendliness, so important and they delivered

Room Tip: 2nd floor sea view room

Stayed at the hotel for the first time for our granddaughters wedding at The Mwnt church. We have never visited this part of Wales before, but what a great choice we made. We stayed for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. We had a double seaview room, and the view was beautiful looking onto the Teifi estuary. The room itself was quite spacious, comfortable, with tea making facilites, trouser press and TV. The breakfast was self service drinks and cereals, with cooked breakfast to order, which was superb. The bar area was spacious with plenty of comfortable sitting areas looking out to sea, with a decked area area outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was only about 10 mins by car from Cardigan town and 10 mins from Mwnt church. All in all a lovely hotel and location which added to a wonderful week end. Will be returning.

Room Tip: Stayed in a double sea view room, which was on the corner of the Hotel so had a panoramic view of th...

A great hotel with friendly staff.
The estuary a beautiful backdrop.
Food excellent and very reasonable for a hotel.
Only one slight drawback in this day and age was a lack of powerpoints in the room.
Unfortunately had to cut visit short due to family emergency.Would have loved to stay longer.
Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed there on half board for 4 nights again this year. Still as wonderful as ever. The room had stunning views of the estuary; and the restaurant produces great food. I hope to return again before too long. Thank you to all the staff too, for making the place tick and everything work like clockwork.

Room Tip: Take a sea view room,,,,you won't be disappointed !
