Just because it's attached to a hotel don't dismiss this bar, very pleasant nice comfortable seating plenty of space. Drinks not cheap however but pleasant surroundings compensate

I visited the Brassiere for food with my family. The staff were exceptional but the food just was not up to the standard. I had fish and chips which it looked great but the batter on the fish was soggy. The chips were frozen chips you can get from a supermarket. It was overpriced and considering the hotel is 4*, I thought the food would have been a lot better! Although this was only the Brassiere, I can't comment on the restaurant.

I have visited Spencers on many occasions for informal business meetings; the staff are always friendly, you don't feel awkward spending an hour or two there, whilst enjoying the great coffee and cakes on offer!

Much better than the restaurant at this hotel but very small and for some reason they won't let you eat at the tables in the bar area. Bizarre. The food's actually okay, nothing really fancy and presentation isn't the most important thing but it tastes good and that really does matter.

Although the staff are helpful and polite the food is overpriced... And small portions to say the least ... And the interior is tired and grubby looking.... Ice cream Sunday was poor quality...tasteless and extremely overpriced as are the meals... Won't be rushing back anytime soon
