Visit in the morning if you want the kaleidoscopic effect. Sensational building oozing colour and magnetism. Don't leave Shiraz without seeing this.

Try to get up early to enjoy the lights and avoid the crowds as much as possible. As beautiful as in the pictures, if not more.

This is a small but beautiful mosque, perhaps the best in Shiraz. It's impossible not to take lots of pictures from different views to try and capture the meditative nature of the place. I sat and enjoyed for a while, but a noisey tour group broke the spell!

Not the oldest mosque in Shiraz. Built in the XIX century. But beautiful. Well known as the pink mosque.
Beautiful stained glasses which cast a stunning light especially in the morning. You can enter the praying room but have to remove your shoes. Impressive when it is not crowded by tourists. If you visit this mosque early in the morning, you can feel both the calm of the place and the religious mood. The colored glass contributes a lot to the atmosphere.
Great decoration with pink flowers.
A must see in Shiraz.
