A "must see" if going to Sidi Bou Said. An amazing house with an equally amazing history and mission. There are concerts there periodically -- western as well as Arab music -- but you have to keep sharp eye out to find the listings. In addition to the house, the grounds are lovely and the views over the Bay of Tunis are beautiful.

A must see old palace overseeing the Sidi Bousaid bay, an excquisite mic between mauresque architecture and Tunisian traditional blue an white houses. Time stops at Palais Ennejma Ezzahra...

Sidi Bou Said is one of the most charming and amazing places I've ever been to. Reminds me of greece's Santorini, however it's got it's own unique character. Photographer's paradise. A must-see!!!

here's a few photos in my livejournal:

For all us Chelsea supporters this is the place to see and be pictured at. Blue and white everywhere with absolutely no red!! Epic location. Lots to buy and haggle for. Great leather goods around and pottery. Enjoy
