Our exceptional Tunisian guide, Aicha from Gil Travel, picked up on our interest in music and planned this "palace" tour when we were visiting the charming seaside town of Sidi Bou Said. The remarkable story of Rudolph d'Erlanger, his eclectic collection of musical instruments, the stunning palace craftsmanship and lovely gardens are a testament to artistic passion and preservation. We only wished we had been traveling at a time during scheduled concerts - such a fabulous venue. History buffs, music lovers, art aficionados: not to be missed!

This palace was built as a symbol of love by a French Baron who loved his wife and offered her this palace as a gift but now it was transformed years ago in the Mediterranean Arab Music Center and i had the occasion to visit it few months ago and my only advice to you dear traveller is to visit it by yourself to discover this breath -taking palace and learn more about The Tunisian rich music culture
