We did the 3 day/2 night tour. It was a brilliant experience - one of the highlights of our trip.

The vehicles were in really good condition and there was plenty of space. Our drivers were extremely skilled navigating the, some times really tricky, terrain and we felt safe throughout.

There was plenty of food at meal times, with the lunches being particularly tasty.

Our guide was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the trip. He also helped us get some really great pictures.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. There was electricity and a hot shower available on the first night. On the first night we had a private room with our own bathroom.

The second night we shared a dorm room and toilet with the four other people who were in our jeep. It is cold on the second night because of the altitude. From what we've read/heard, that will be same with all tours unless you spend significantly more. The sleeping bags we were provided with were good quality.

On our tour, a member had a preexisting medical issue, which unfortunately flared up. The guides and drivers were able to use the satellite phone to help organise transport back to a city where she could receive medical care.

There were so many fantastic sights and experiences in this tour; we were really glad we did the longer tour.

Before the tour the communication with the company was good. If you get the overnight bus from La Paz, there is a cafe where you can get a substantial breakfast and charge phones/camera batteries.

Someone from the company met us at the cafe and showed us to the offices where we could wait for the tour to start. We were allowed to store the luggage we didn't need for the trip at the office.

The tour arrived back in Uyuni in plenty of time for us to change, have a meal (which we had with a number of people on our tour) and get the night bus back to La Paz.
