A very modest looking accommodation from the street, but what a lovely little surprise awaits inside. The rooms are bright, comfortable, clean and quiet, and across the street from the river. It is a little haven of relaxation. Luck, the owner/manager, was incredibly hospitable. Pak Ping Rim Khong should appear near the top of the Trip Advisor list of accommodations in Chiang Saen.

Room tip: Because the courtyard sets the rooms away from the street, all rooms would be fine.

This is amongst the very best guest houses we have stayed at anywhere in Thailand.
Lovely garden at the front, where an excellent Thai or western breakfast is served.
Rooms large and spotless with good Wi-Fi and aircon.
Will do laundry in house at very reasonable cost.
Excellent service provided by owners and staff and great value for money.
The oldest city in Thailand, Chiang Saen has much to offer in historical sites including a unique largely intact city wall and many wonderful old temples. Great cycling and bikes can be rented very cheaply. Lakes nearby make a great day out.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. They served an early breakfast and the rooms were comfortable. The air conditioning and WiFi worked and there were a few outlets to recharge phones, etc. We would certainly stay there again if in the area.

A great little family run hotel with well appointed rooms and a very good breakfast.
The rooms are quite large, clean and well maintained.
Breakfast is served in a garden setting (weather permitting) and is a very generous breakfast - choice of eggs and meats of rice porridge with freshly squeezed juice and fresh fruit.
Good WiFi speeds and limited undercover parking are also a bonus.
The staff (Lucky in particular) are very friendly and helpful.
Fat Free Bicycle shop is about 1 minutes walk away - rental bicycles.
Highly recommended by this fussy guest

Room tip: The upstairs, front rooms can be a little noisy

Location: close to the temples and just across the street from the river.
Staff: Wonderful.
Rooms: clean, beautiful.
Breakfast: yummy.

My wife have accidentally left her phone charger behind and so they called us to ask about where and how they could send it - again, great and very helpful.
