We chose to stay overnight on the way south and probably saved an hour's driving time. It is advertised as budget, but the only "budget" is the price which was very good value and included breakfast. The rooms are obviously being renovated and ours was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we could want. The layout of lights and switches was very practical, for instance. The staff were very genuine and helpful even if not as polished as those of an inner-city 5 star hotel. It is 12 km off the main road on what was probably the old highway and that is its advantage and its disadvantage. We did not eat there, but the bar and dining facilities are very modern, so next time we will try them out. I highly recommend leaving Sydney after the evening peak, staying in Tahmoor and then either a sleep-in or an early start on a trip further down the Hume Highway.

Considering the price, throwing in breakfast would of been lovely. Room was okay, thought the sheets had already been slept in due to marks in the bed linen. Great shower 3⭐️If that.. We found it quite pricey for Narellan.

A one-night stay, for 1 person cost $75.
The room (#10 to memory) had 3 single beds.

Upon check-in was provided with continental breakfast - milk, orange juice, 2 pieces of bread with butter.
In the room was tea, coffee, sugar, 3x cereals, jam & Vegemite spreads.
Crockery and cutlery toaster and kettle also provided in-room.

The room was very clean, spacious enough for 1 person.
Shower with hot water worked well.
Quiet bar-fridge with good freezer compartment.

The property was fully booked out for the night during my stay, yet the other guests were very quiet (which often makes all the difference between a good & bad stay).

Walls may be a little thin, although I don't recall any disruptive noise coming from the neighbours room, nor did I hear their bathroom plumbing.
The nearby road was quiet between 10pm-6am.
Occasional freight trains could be heard, although I was not woken during the night.

Less than 1.5 hour drive away from Sydney CBD.

I arrived with low expectations, yet departed very pleased with this property. Will certainly return.

The room was fairly basic, one double bed, one single, I slept in the double and was quiet comfortable. Has fridge, toaster, kettle as you would expect. Room was very clean and had a fairly new reverse cycle air con. Tv reception was limited to about 5 channels. Table and chairs in room with clock. A continental breakfast was included in the $75 tariff ( toast, coffee, cereal, juice). Bathroom was clean but in need of a make over. The Tavern section has been recently renovated and is very modern and the meals are reasonably priced and of excellent quality. I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. All in all I would say that if you are used to staying at the Ritz you will be disappointed, but for a budget priced country motel I found my stay very comfortable and good value.
