이 호텔리조트의 가장 마음에 들었던 것 하나만 뽑으라고 한다면 멋진 카리브해를 조망할 수 있고 정말 부드러운 화이트 샌드를 가진 비치이다. 그리고 큰 리조트 안의 돌아다니는 기차가 10분마다 다녀 이동하는데 도움을 준다. 또한 다양한 놀이 (탁구, 게임, 카약, 미니골프, 요트 등)을 예약을 통해 할 수 있다.

먼저 식당은 11개가 있는데 2개의 뷔페식당과 24시간 오픈하는 스낵바와 6개의 각각의 요리별 식당이 있다. 뷔페식당(Miramar buffet restaurant, Bohio Dominicano buffet restaurant)은 메인 풀장 옆에 바로 붙어 있다. 영업시간은 정해져 있으나 실제로는 약간은 flexible 한 것 같고 ... 많은 사람들이 풀장에서 놀다가 배고프면 그냥 들어가서 먹고 나오는 식당들이고 젊은 사람들은 안에서 간단하게 햄버거를 만들어서 나와서 풀장에서 먹고들 하곤 그랬다.

맥주, 주스, 샴페인 등 알코올성 음료 또한 다 공짜이다.. 와인도 공짜(하우스 와인만) 하지만 본인이 선택한 와인을 시키면 돈을 따로 내야 한다. 그리고 이 뷔페식당은 (우리나 최성수기에 방문하기는 했지만) 정말 수많은 사람들이 방문을 한다. 시설은 정말 훌륭했으나 아직 서비스는 별 5개까지 호텔이라고 이야기하기에는 좀 부족한 듯싶다. 왜냐면 깨끗해 보인다고 해서 전에 먹은 사람이 쓰다 남긴 포크를 바꾸지 않는 걸 볼 때도 있고 가장 힘든 건 매니저급 이외에는 영어가 잘 통하지 않아서(여긴 스페인어) 정확히 원하는 걸 얻는 데는 시간이 조금 걸린다. 그리고 이 빠진 접시나 컵은 예사이니 ... 그냥 깨끗하면 쓰면 될 듯싶다.. 그리고 커피나 주스는 주문해서 가져다주는 것보다 본인이 직접 가서 받아먹는 게 더 빨랐다.

아래의 6가지 식당은 드레스 코드(민소매티나 반바지는 허용이 안됨)가 있으며 저녁식사만 제공한다. 그리고 반드시 컨시어지를 통해서 미리 예약을 해야지만 식사가 가능하다. 그러므로 도착하자마자 짐 풀고 숙박 기간 내 식당을 미리 모두 예약해 두어야 한다.)

우리는 해산물, 스테이크, 멕시코, 일본 식당 이렇게 4군데를 이용했는데 그중에서 가장 마음에 들었던 식당은 멕시코 식당이었다. 솔직히 이탈리안이나 스페인 레스토랑을 이용하고 싶었으나 예약이 가득 차서 이용할 수 없었다. 개인적으로 이 호텔리조트에서 가장 기분이 나빴던 것 중 하나가 컨시어지를 통한 식당 예약이었다. 체크인하는 로비의 컨시어지 직원은 매우 친절했으나 몇몇 호텔 내에 산재되어 있던 컨시어지의 직원들은 다리를 꼬고 의자에 거의 누워서 식당 예약을 받을 정도로 불친절했으며 개인적으로는 동양인에 대한 차별이 있다고 생각이 들었다. 나와 이야기할 때랑 백인이랑 이야기할 때 그 사람들이 앉아 있는 자세의 차이를 보고 그렇게 느꼈다.( 이 부분은 나중에 호텔 지배인에게 사과 메일을 받았지만 이 호텔의 인상이 완전히 좋았다고 이야기할 수 없는 가장 큰 이유 중 하나이었다.) 그리고 무슨 이유에서인지 모든 식당이 9:30분경에 예약이 되었다....

El Coral Restaurant (해산물 레스토랑, 내 방에 짐을 가져다준 포터에서 물어보니 여기를 가장 추전해주었다.)

We had an amazing stay! We are very particular about where we stay but I can hands down say this was the best experience we have ever had. It FAR exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding, they do everything they can to accommodate you,way more than you could ever expect. It was very clean. The rooms were so beautiful, the beach was so pretty and well kept. It was my birthday and they even surprised me with a little note, souvenir, and a birthday cake! Very very kind people and a wonderful experience. Will be visiting again soon.

Great venue, wonderful staff. Lots to do, specialty restaurants,except Koto were excellent. Kyoto was a disaster. Wife's meal was never served, we waited 30 minutes. Staff asked her about meal, never returned with correct meal. We left.

Our experience was very good, the only suggestion we have is that we think you should put a bar closer to the beach and a beauty salon so that the ladies can go arranged, then everything else was an excellent experience, except for waitresses Bad mood.

This was our seventh time travelling to this resort. Each time we visit we love it even more. We had suite 5211 in the Club Premium section. It was superb and offered so much space for our extended vacation. We continue to appreciate everything this resort offers and never fails to deliver lots of activity combined with relaxation . We love our morning walks up the kilometers of beautiful beach....walking the beautiful paths throughout the resort.... water sports too. We are beach bums and enjoy the incredible setting of this complex and look forward to our next return stay. Chez Gourmet, la Comedie and Kyoto are our most favorite of a la carte Restaurants. Another wonderful visit and definitely recommend Club Premium. ......super service and added value to experience. MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!
