Right at the entrance to the Petra site. The room was a little on the small side and 'well worn' but well equipped with a large bed, tea and coffee facilities, a good size fried (and even a trouser press!). The room is not an issue - you do not spend any time there when you are in Petra. The public areas are spacious and comfortable and there is a good choice for breakfast. The staff were helpful and two small issues were dealt with very quickly.

Very convenient to the site. The common areas look really good. We found the staff very helpful
The meals were really good with a lot of variety
The furnishings in our room were really tired. One of the throw pillows in our room had a huge hole in it but hadn't been replaced. The furniture was really scratched and worn.
If I returned would be determined on the deal I could get elsewhere vs its location

Great location-1 minute walk to Petra ticket office and closest hotel to Petra entrance.
Family of 4 had to get two rooms. They were next door to each other. Cave Bar was a fun and unique place to get a drink. Breakfast buffet was just ok.

We spent 2 nights in the Petra Guest House. I would say everything was just about OK —- breakfast was OK; room OK; service OK but nothing stands out, other than the convenience of the location.
Negatives: our bathroom was very small and they seem very stingy with complimentary teas and coffees. Positives: Breakfasts offer a wide range of choice, but because it appears there are a several groups of guests, who descend at similar times say 7:30, it seems to overwhelm the staff.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Petra site (this is the closest hotel to entrance, I think). Our room was clean and well appointed, and offered good views of Wadi Musa. The food was excellent. We ate in the Cave Bar one night, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet both mornings (it was that good and the price was really fair).
