We stayed four nights, using Asahikawa as a base to visit Furano, Biei and Sounkyo. The hotel room is outdated.....this is the only hotel that has a bidet that you have to turn (rather than press) but it still works. Room size is adequate (able to fit two big luggage) and toiletries are provided. The single bed is a good size so we pushed them together and had a pretty big bed. For the price (lowest in our 14 day stay in Hokkaido)...there are no complains.
Parking is only for sedan car. We had a MPV and had to park in an open air carpark just down the road (only 2 mins walk). Cost is Y1400 per day. Location is good. Just down the road from JR station (but we opened the window as the room was stuffy and it got a little noisy in the night). We were so tired that we slept right through. Big AEON mall and shopping street right near the hotel. Walking distance to many restaurants and bar as well. Reception staff is friendly but cannot speak English well. Overall, value for money
