It is located straight to the JR station, of about 3 junctions. Its entrance is very small and easy to be overpassed. The staff however are unexpectedly good in English speaking and they helped A LOT to our stay in Asahikawa. The only thing that we were unsatisfied was the room size. We booked a double room and the guestroom was so small that we couldn't open and tidy up our luggage case on the floor.
