Its HOT!!! it may be weather during Feb month/Hampi monuments /Hampi Island - Virupapura Gaddi :).
Our's was team of 9 guys who planned to explore Hampi (Road Trip - will write about it in another review) in Feb month for 3days. After lots of exploring we decided to stay other side of river which is called Hampi Island named Virupaura Gaddi. We made our booking through Makemy trip and got SUnney GuestHouse for a good deal. Just 937/Rs 2 nights :) is'nt is good deal. We were not sure to if that guesthouse is worth that money but we had made our mind that we will explore Hampi and it should be budgeted trip. hence we booked our stay at SUnny GuestHosue.
We reached Hampi Virupapura Gaddi by 7:30PM and we were surprised they way Virupapura Gaddi was established and people there. It like mini GOA with full of hippie and we have so many guest houses setup there for these Hippie's.
Sunny GuestHouse is located almost last of street. We parked our Bikes in Guesthouse parking lot and made an entry into guesthouse. It was one more surprise, as the guest house is maintained in very good conditions and is next Paddy fields. We had reserved 3 cottages and cottages were very simple and maintained in good condition. I can see a smile on my team as they were satisfied with the location and guesthouse and the off...Its HOT!!! it may be weather during Feb month/Hampi monuments /Hampi Island - Virupapura Gaddi :).

Minimum and very basic things are available in cottages: Bed with Mosquito Net, 1 wardrobe , bath room with cold and hot water facility, Fan and sit-outs. I guess that is all required for such environment. They have restaurant in the guest house named SHESHA BESHA, which has varieties of food on the menu from INDIAN/Italian/Israeli. I loved the food there but all the food is tuned for Hippie's. If you love spicy then ask for it, chef would make it for one.
People at guesthouse are very good and supporting. You cannot expect teh room service here, but step-out from cottage and ask what you need, people will get it done for you.
restaurant dinning/sitting is something everyone would love to. Beds are placed on ground and in-between beds 1 feet stone table is placed, which is comfortable and one can stretch legs/sit in every possible condition/ sleep if tired and chat with friends. We meet few foreigners from England, Israeli (majority), Spain etc.. guesthouse
They do have Wifi setup, ask for password at reception and it is free.
From Nov to April this places is a paradise for Hippie's and later they would vanish and return back again on same duration.
I would recommend this place for single/couples. Suggestion try to avoid going with elder people especially at this Hampi Island as Hampi is know for Historical place and elders love this places bcoz of it history. Hence avoid taking elder people to this area.More
