One of the best weekends I've had. Never done anything like this before and it was the most enjoyable experience I've ever had. The only thing that let it down was the weather, which can't be helped. Especially at this time of year.
Beautiful house, warm, spacious and has great facilities. The underfloor heating was amazing and the beds were comfortable.
Wifi was good considering you don't get high speeds that far out in the countryside.
Would recommend to a group of friends or a family get away!
Floors are slippy! Wear shoes or slippers with grips.
Stayed in Glenvarloch over Hogmanay. Lovely house - clean, extremely well equipped and most importantly, given the weather, extremely cosy. Christmas tree and stair decorations really added to the festive atmosphere and the bubbly in the fridge was much appreciated! Loads of space throughout.the house and for parking. We loved the open plan design. Only word of warning for those with young children/elderly relatives would be that the spiral stairs from the kitchen/dining area to the upstairs is quite steep - not to be negotiated with socks on! The owners responded immediately to our queries before we arrive, including recommending where to buy steak pie for our New Year's Day dinner. Best quality and value steak pie we've had!

The house was very comfortable and a lovely quiet hideaway from the stresses of everyday life.
