Amazing sea food fresh out the pristine plockton waters, its to die for, if by chance, you don't like fish/ seafood, there's plenty more on the menu to like. The service is great and it's a great wee pub as well. Enjoy!

Just returned from a great trip to Plockton where I was advised by a friend that I should try out the Plockton Inn for some seafood. First advice is to book a table in advance as it is a very popular eatery where we witnessed many a hungry soul being politely turned away to try another day. My wife who is not a seafood fan opted for the sirloin steak and was delighted at the quality and taste, cooked perfectly to her specification. Following the Cullen Skink which was superb in itself I waited with great anticipation for the seafood platter....I was not disappointed. Presented beautifully. a quite fantastic and plentiful display of fresh seafood of which every bite was a delight. Reasonably priced at around £20 it was worth every penny. A meal completed with a small cheese board with oatcakes (disappointledy with no chutney/jam) and sticky toffee pudding which was unfortunately average and nothing to write home about. The overall experience was however both enjoyable and well worthy of a visit, particularly if you love seafood.

After touring the Isle of Skye all day, in a chilly rain, our dinner experience at the Plockton Inn provided us with a warm ending to the day. Our party of eight was seated around a large table in a comfortable setting that was everything we would expect a Scottish pub to be. The service was great, the food well above average, and the selection of single malts outstanding. If we're able to visit this area again, you can bet we'll visit the Plockton Inn.

Stayed one night the first week in July. Wasn't disappointed. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower very good. All the staff were extremely helpful. As my mother was in a wheel chair they couldn't do enough. The food was great as we had an evening meal. I do recommend you book in advance as they were extremely busy even on a Monday night. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

Room Tip: Rm 9 is ground floor and a family room consisting of an adjoining twin room to the main bedroom.

We had a dozen oysters followed by hand picked scallops and freshly caught prawns. The oysters were good and the shell fish that followed fresh and delicious. Two puddings of cranachan and chocolate and caramel pot also very good. Glasses of Rioja accompanied also good. And Andy Murray won his first match at Wimbledon.
