this is the best hotel in the area, short drive to the coast. we had fun in the Wave with sunday football and returned to watch the world series. Tuesday 5 dollar burgers where great. It took some time to connect with our server, but once we did she took great care of us. The Casino offered really nice deals. we will be back.

The rooms at Blue Lake at very nice and very clean. This is a great stop over place on your way up the coast. The casino is small, but nice. The restaurant was great. If you stay and play, get a players card and they will send you free rooms for future stays.

Me and my colleagues met here for business and just stayed one night. Our host who checked us in seemed quite confused about the arrangements and we spent too much time just getting situated. We asked for a conference room to work in and it required managers approval which we did not get. It seemed as if asking for a conference room required an act of mercy. However once in my room it was quiet, clean and quite comfortable. My room have a small balcony just large enough to sit on but it was enjoyable. I'm not a gambler so I can't comment on any of the gaming activities.

As I am not a gambler the main reason for staying was the location. The location is great if you want to go to the Mad River Brewing tap room which you should.

The room was large comfortable and had modest sound proofing, our neighbours must have been hard of hearing as their TV was so loud we could hear it.

There is nothing to fault the hotel on, the casino, which we visited briefly, could do with more non-smoking areas.

This hotel is a gem!!! Quiet, very clean, very nice, with great amenities in house. Very short drive to Arcata or McKinleyville. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to stay for a quick sleepover or a nice break!

Blue Lake is a wonderful town, with wilderness just outside your door. In addition, the casino is top notch and very classy.
