The castle is more like a typical 17th century mansion, painstakingly renovated and brought back to a well deserved second life. The long drive to get there was well worth. Spent four days in a peaceful, charming atmosphere. The mansion's interior decoration - loaded with original antique objects - manages to inspire a real feeling of being immersed in the past, while all modern amenities are at hand: good strength wi-fi everywhere and air conditioning discreetly humming when needed. The restaurant surprised us with a large variety of dishes, delicious without exception and with amazing presentation. We could find for every dish we savored a matching wine in a quite ample wine list. Must say that the red house wine made a great impression, better than several more expensive known brands on the list.
Inside or outside, the setup matches well the "stylish retro" intention. And yes, there is also a small SPA, with a pool of salty water and outdoors grass beach, massage parlor and sauna. All, including the showers and the lawn is kept sparkling clean, to the direct merit of the personnel. All were kind and proactive, willing to assist.
Highly recommended. We, for sure hope to come back sometime.

Room tip: Rooms facing the village are certainly the best.

We had a lovely big room waiting for us with the air-co on, as it was very warm outside, everything prepared for the child and also chocolates. Dinner was good, breakfast was more than ok, waiters bringing you coffee outside in the garden. Lots of old stuff, antiques, old car exhibited, so on. Good indoor swimming pool for children, something to do.

This place is so poorly managed that it should close his restaurant for ever and focus only on the event planning becaus this restaurant is just a waste of resources. The waiters have almost no experience and no need to speak about this any further. The lunch what I had was one that I used to order hear in the past, it vas trout with cauliflower and smashed potatoes, and with a typical garlic sauce. The only thing that I managed to eat was the smashed potatoes and to do it I needed to ad some salt and pepper otherwise it had no taste. The fish was so raw that they could have serv it in a sushi restaurant. So all in one dont come here for lunch or diner come only if you want to have a drink with a nice view but not to eat because you will end up unsatisfied and most probably hungry.

I went to Haller castle twice to have lunch at their restaurant, the food is delicious, I love the furniture and the setting, not to mention the architecture of the building. I never stayed overnight because I live in targu Mures, which is way too close :) It is a very relaxing atmosphere and I will go again to eat and have a walk. I also hear they organize lovely weddings during the summer or wedding photo sessions.
