We went to the Mothers Day brunch here and the food was outstanding! Crab legs, prawns, prime rib, eggs benedict, ham, turkey, salads, desserts and everything in between. The scenery is beautiful on the patio. You will want to make sure and request outdoor seating. The service was average at best. We had reservations for 13 on the patio and ended up with a very long wait to be seated outside. I know it's a buffet but it took a long time to get drinks and to have them refilled and we when we ordered coffee we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. There was a wait for plates at the buffet. The staff were all exceptionally nice. The only real negative that continues to irritate me if the 18% gratuity automatically tacked onto our bill as we were a large party. Understandable at a full service dinner, but not at a buffet. A $75 tip for a few sodas, coffee and tea is over the top.
Do walk around the grounds after dinner as it is lovely.

We recently enjoyed lunch at Bahtenta, the clubhouse restaurant at Yocho Dehe--the golf course that is behind the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks. I'm not often at a loss for words, but the combination of Bahtenta's breathtaking view, service and food has left me speechless.

Bahtenta is located in a valley behind the Capay Valley and somewhat distant from Hwy. 16. It is this valley's sole development and it's serene, peaceful beauty is breathtaking. I could sit at one of Bahtenta's outdoor tables, enjoying the scenery and watching birds of prey fly overhead for hours.

While Bahtenta's current menu is currently a little limited, we were impressed at how Bahtenta took the routine, like our salads and nacho appetizer, and made it memorable. If the view didn't get us, the food certainly would have. Our server was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our water glasses never were permitted to be empty--one of our service litmus tests.

We consider Bahtenta to be a real find, a true hidden gem in Yolo County. We'll definitely be back.
