Questionable seafood, really bad other food. I'm not sure why this is named Kobe Beef?? Dirty, outdated, over priced yuck.

My family and I have been patronizing Kobe Susi for over four years and enjoyed every meal we have ordered.

The menu is a wonderful combination of Japanese, Korean and standard American with a few fusion options mixed in. The appetizer section is filled with fresh items with a number of very healthy options. The rolls are the type traditionally found in a California style Japanese establishment, and are well executed and presented beautifully. The sushi is always so fresh you can almost taste the ocean in each and every bite.

The waitstaff is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They even appear to enjoy their jobs and convey that to the customers! The kitchen is willing to make alterations to accommodate diners. For example, one member of our family does not like avocado but loves tobiko. That substitution is made cheerfully and unhesitatingly, and without the occasional eye roll or are "you kidding" look the family member gets when making a similar request at other sushi restaurants.

The atmosphere is very casual. Situated in the old Sam's Town center off Highway 50, the restaurant has maintained the painted concrete floors, large windows and relaxed air from the "old days."

Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served and less than some of the better known Japanese style restaurants.

OK so they say there's no propane but they will have it in five minutes after 20 minutes goes by now they say 45 minutes. This restaurant has changed owners and is mismanaged. Their sushi is very good, but we wanted hot food. They allowed us to order hot food telling us they would have propane but never delivered. No water refill, poor service, Not recommended.

Kobe is pretty reliable. I generally have the hot pot which has never failed to please me. My wife often has a bento box which is usually quite good as well, although once recently the teriyaki chicken was off. The service is usually very good and the variety on the menu is unusual for this area. All in all, we like Kobe.
