When buying our LEGOLAND tickets we upgraded to add Sea Life. We thought our 4 month old would find it entertaining. He loved the bright colors of the aquatic animals, as well as the color video in the beginning. Even though he couldn’t complete the embossed seals for the dive book. It’s a cute keepsake to show him when he is older.

Sea Life isn’t huge, but that’s perfect for little ones who can only focus for short times or need to be carried (good for the parents). The incorporation of LEGO into the exhibits was cute and fun. Having little buttons to make somethings interactive was fun, and our little one could be more apart of the experience.

The gift shop was great because it offered souvenirs for a wide range of ages. Which was nice since we only had a 4 month old. We could get books or small stuffed toys.

Overall, we are glad we upgraded to add Sea Life to our LEGOLAND tickets. It was worth it for the joy we saw in our little one.

Thank Heidi S

I hope that you left with some great memories. I do hope you will visit with us again when your child is older and can enjoy all that the Resort has to offer.

This was a change of pace event during our visit to Legoland. We did not know what to expect going in. Having been to some of the larger aquariums in the country, this felt like an "aquarium" lite experience. Some learnings and some familiar friends. There's sheet kids can get where they can get embossed stamps for various stops in the museum. Somehow or kids did not get one upon entry. Midway through we found other kids getting their stamps and tracked down a page to get us started. It would have been great to start from the begginning as we started playing catch up - the whole tone/focus of the visit changed. If pressed for time whle visiting Legoland and if you've seen other Aquariums before, this may be a visit to choose to pass on.

Dear Omeed,

Thank you for reviewing Sea Life Aquarium. We are sorry to hear that you left the Aquarium with some disappointment in regards to your visit. Our Sea Life Aquarium is one of few that will contain LEGO structures inside the tanks and aquarium, however we are sorry that you were not informed with the information with the stamp map scavenger hunt.

We thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Not too big, not too small. Fun educational thing to do. Cafe next to exit so you can get a drink or snack.

We had a play pass and made a stop here. There are many cool fish to see here. You can spend 15 minutes or 2 hours if you take your time.

If consider the aquarium primarily as a place for little kids, it’s average. While there are lots of kid only viewing ports and accessible areas, the touch tank with starfish is an absolutely awful design for any kid under the age of about 6. All it did was make bellies wet and kids scared of water because they almost need to go upside down to touch anything. For adults it’s not worth the visit. For families, it’s only worth it if your Legoland pass includes it.
