The restaurant is set in the beautiful Park Hyatt at Aviara. When making the reservation I had requested a table by the window which they managed to accommodate.
The menu has a very wide selection and I ordered the Octopus which was exquisite, the other members in our party selected the goats cheese salad and another member a cheese dish, all agreeing the food to be delicious.
You have various options as to the number of courses you wish to eat, the ladies decided on 3 courses and the men electing to have 4.
All prices I believe are very competitive, including the delicious bottle of wine we selected to accompany the meal.
If there was was one area which could be improved upon I would have to say it’s the inconsistency from-the service staff.
Whilst the waitress serving us was exceptionally good and very enthusiastic when describing the desserts on offer, there were long periods when there were no staff in the area and we had to ask for more wine and water to be poured, this should never happen at a restaurant of this caliber. The same thing happened after we had all finished our main courses there were no staff to remove the plates, so we sat there for quite some time with empty plates sitting in front of us.
I was very happy with the food but slightly disappointed by the lower standard of service, which is a shame as it detracted from the overall experience.
