Well we got there fairly early 5:45 on a friday and had to wait about 30 minutes, but it was worth it. They have a ton of great choices, fantastic service with a smile and a unique sake with tequilla infused in it, that tastes like a margarita. We really enjoyed our dinner and had three unique rolls, tempura veggies and great miso soup.
Just call ahead and get reservations as this is one In demand sushi spot on the Esplanade.

We tried this restaurant with friends on a Monday evening. It turns out Mondays there is an all night Happy Hour AND that includes some appetizers. None of ordered sushi and everything was delicious. We had pork pot stickers as an appetizer. Cooked to perfection and authentically delicious. The other couple had the teriyaki salmon with slaw and rice. The salmon was perfectly cooked, not overly sauced and the slaw delicious. My husband and I had Udon noddles with tempura shrimp and vegetables. Delicious, authentic tasting. The tempura were well cooked. We will be back and on Monday night!! The place is not too big. Recommend making reservations. Our non-sushi dishes were reasonably priced.

It has been a while since we have eaten here and soon as our sushi arrived and we tasted it we knew the quality had went downhill for some reason, the sashimi was not very tasty and seemed to have no firmness to it. Our rolls we ordered were not as good as we remembered it from our last visit. So in casual conversation we asked the sushi chefs how things were going and with some chit chat back and forth we found out that the place had sold about a year ago to one of the sushi chefs and that's when we figured things changed and either the quality of the fish went down to save on cost or something was going on because it just didn't have the same flavor as we had remembered. We are pretty regular in sushi dept, eating it out at least 4 times a month either for lunch or dinner.

To me this is the best sushi in town. Fresh, lots of options. Staff is helpful. Prices are reasonable, not cheap. And good options other that just sushi. Highly Recommended !

Very good and varied sushi (but other dishes on the menu are cheaper if you don't go for the sushi and some regular Japanese type fare). The way you can order is great as you mark your selections on a piece of paper and just keep going -- and WE DID! All the variety of rolls we tried were either good or very good. I don't think they have a bad one on the menu. Varied items on the menu allows you to choose something everyone should appreciate. There were kids in the restaurant but as it is an open space, it was noisy, so a quiet dining experience, when we went on Saturday, and thought it would probably be crowded, i.e. people waiting to get in -- it wasn't and for the quality that was unexpected. It was full, just no one waiting to get in. So moderate pricing on regular menu items, sushi was about what good sushi runs in restaurants. Again, it was really good sushi and some rolls that were obviously specials that are just made in that restaurant.
