They have barbacoa on weekends. This is really really good. The sopes I think are homemade because also are so good. We use to go every single weekend to eat barbacoa. Tortillas homemade too.

This was my third meal and second visit to the restaurant. Each meal has been consistently good and one was a take out order which even met the standards. Great chips and salsa. Margaritas are good but maybe a little sweet for my tastes. All of the dishes are fresh and taste amazing.

Lousy food; worse service and watered down drinks. A waste of time and money. The drinks took forever to arrive and were tasteless. The food was not much better. The service was basically nonexistant.

Our party of 6 went there at 630pm on a Sunday night..not too busy at that time, but throughout our meal the folks were streaming in.
Subtle furnishings...soft salsa music in the background..soft lights = great ambiance.
The food was plentiful (though more costly than many other Mexican restaurants in the area), and very fresh. This establishment offers both Mexican and Spanish food..paella for instance.
My fish tacos with black beans/rice on the side were delicious..very mild fish. Hubby said his "pescado verde" (grilled tilapia in green sauce w/ rice and veggies) was the best tilapia he's ever had!
Others had the pork carnitas, which they said were delicious also.

Service was attentive and not "pushy".

Only down side was those who had mixed drinks said they were pretty watered down; i.e. "jack & coke" and "the blue agave margarita".

This restaurant is right on the corner and has big windows with the world whizzing by if you need a distraction from your dinner-date!

Definetly would patronize this restaurant again! Oh! Gave up chips for lent, but those who ate the fresh ones with the salsa said they were delish..fresh and crunchy!

Most Mexican restaurants are almost interchangeable. They create nice-tasting Mexican food that you won't find in any real restaurant in Mexico - they cater to our "idea" of Mexican food. This place offers some of that, but also some really good authentic dishes, in case you want to venture out. Their mole is quite good - you can make better if you spend 5 hours doing it at home, but why bother. They have an excellent tequila menu and even margarita drinkers should know that the right tequila matters. Reasonably priced and fun.
