This desert hideaway gets our highest ranking amongst the magic water spas and retreats in the Palm Springs/Desert Hot Springs areas. Modest comfortable rooms, fantastic valley views, peaceful and quiet surroundings, super breakfast spread, breathtaking pools and spa and BEST of all ... the new managers!! Kristina & Douglas have perfected the art of amazing and uncompromising guest service. Kristina welcomed us with a refreshing cold towel and a warm friendly smile that melted our hearts. There was nothing left to chance, as the service was beyond outstanding and they made us feel as though we were a part of the Miracle family. Thanks to them and (a cool facility and something she calls the Miracle Misting System) our weekend escape was nothing short of five star relaxation! We would not consider staying anywhere else!

We have been staying at Miracle Manor for several years now and have always found it a wonderful place to relax an unwind from the big City of Los Angeles. The Drive is not too bad and the Solitude this little Resort offers is just what the Doctor ordered! There are only five rooms so you don't have a huge group of people surrounding you at all times. The rooms are simple but furnished with everything you need. With the new Manager we noticed a Big Difference right away in the details an cleanliness that most Resorts overlook, and we have seen quite a few! The Pools are wonderful! There are two pools, one nice and refreshing and almost body temperature and the other nice and hot with jets, covered by a canopy of steel and glass walls. The architechture of the place is reminisent of the Fifities with sweeping archs of steel and wood working together very nicely. Miracle Manor also offers wonderful Massages and Body Treatments. A Very Nice Organic Breakfast of fresh breads, yogurts, cereals, coffee and more, comfortable lounge chairs and refreshing Misters top off a Very Relaxing Get Away. We will continue to return and definately recommend it to others! Bravo!!!

I've stayed in Desert Hot Springs on several occasions as I'm a fan of the the Natural Hot Springs and the re-vamped mid-century modern motels in the area. Palm springs this is not so don't expect it. Miracle Manor is by far my favorite in the area and far exceeded my expectations! The hostess was extraordinarily lovely and helpful and went above and beyond for us, the motel itself (a remodeled Jon Lautner designed structure) is intimate, architecturally and aesthetically super cool, and set up in such a way that it is sublimely chill, relaxing and feels like you have the place all to yourself. I've stayed at nearby Hope Springs a number of times and not only is the staff far less pleasant, on weekends it can get so cramped that there's not even space to sit at poolside (which in my opinion in many ways defeats the purpose of going if you can't get pool time in). Not so at Miracle Manor where you can max and relax all day with no disruptions but the cool breeze and the rambling tumbleweeds. Ahh, wish I was there now!!!

Dear "Canyonchild",

Thank you very much for your recent and honest review!!! You - our valuable guests are the reason for us to do all we do and positive responses like yours bring appreciation and motivation in our work. It also helps many other travelers in making an excellent decision to be our guests at Miracle Manor Retreat.

We hope to be your hosts agan, ensuring you get a truly relaxing and memorable experience once again!

I would like to add a small note about the architectural aspect of the property: under the present ownership the architect Michael Rotondi is the one who renovated the Manor, adding the "Cube" suites, the pool cover and parabolic structure over the pools, the shade and more. On the other hand his wife and designer April Greiman added the element of design that is transparent to the unique experience of the Manor, as well as the distinguished calming combination of colors and use of space.

Thank You for your support!

Respectfully yours,
Kristina Remington

We were desperate for a weekend getaway. We drove to Miracle Manor Retreat on Friday morning... In Los Angeles traffic... it was a 2 hour drive... and we thought that it would take us DAYS to relax and wind down. Once we got there we put our bags down, put on our swimsuits, and went into the pool. It took exactly 10 seconds in that water for ALL of our body to go into instant relaxation. I have been around the world on vacation and it has never taken me 10 seconds to relax to that degree. Usually it takes me days to wind down. We seriously thought that there was a secret potion in the water that sucks your troubles and stress away - if that's possible! The property, the service, the breakfast, the cleanliness and the view are the things that are haunting me and making me CRAVE and WANT to go back. We will be going back early June - we need it. we want it. we have to have it. I can't wait!!!!!! I will be recommending Miracle Manor Retreat to anyone that says hello to me! The world MUST know about this little hide-away!

The old adage “No expectations, No disappointments” does not apply here. We had high expectations for our first stay at Miracle Manor and frankly, without exception, this place met and exceeded all of them. We expected a clean, quiet, comfortable room. We got it! We wanted to relax, unwind and escape from everyday life without interruptions, crowded pools and noisy neighbors. We got it! We expected a well balanced variety of healthy breakfast options. We got it! We expected to be welcomed with a warm, friendly caring attitude. We got it! We expected above average guest service. We got it! We expected the spa and pools to be sparkling clean, inviting and rejuvenating. We got it! We wanted to stay in a place that was eco friendly and respectful of the environment. We got it! We wanted it all at an affordable price. We got it!

This trendy, mid century B&B is truly a hidden gem in the desert. If you’re looking for wild nightlife, crowded bars and pools, mediocre heart clogging food, buzzing alarm clocks and late night TV - look elsewhere! Miracle Manor is for those of us who desire something unique, different and out of the ordinary. We got it!
