While the food may not be the best Chinese food you have ever had, it is tasty. Large portions, several courses— soup, egg roll, meal with rice, and fortune cookie make this the best meal to be had for $5.50!

Was craving Chinese food. This was okay but other than the value there wasn't anything special about it. To be fair when it comes to my favorite cuisine I'm a bit of a snob. To be clear, there wasn't anything wrong with it.

You can select a wonderful lunch with large portions. The service and atmosphere are good. Appetizers are good.

Lunch specials (and there are a lot) are $5.50 and includes soup, an egg roll, and your entree. I ordered the almond chicken with white chicken (breast). The meal was very stove hot, the chicken was tender - not overcooked - and the fried rice was very good. The portion size was huge - actually enough for two. My wife had mu shu chicken, again white meat chicken, and she got four fairly large mu shu (like a Chinese burrito). The mu shu was very good and she also was served a huge portion of white rice - her lunch was not a lunch special and cost $8.50! Will definitely return to Kam Lun.

Don't bother with the Hot and sour soup. It is so thick and tasteless but the other food, like everything fried rice was excellent. The pot stickers a good too. It is a family run operation and the service is great. There is a homeless man who sits outside occasionally asking for leftovers, so be prepared for that. Not in the best of neighborhoods, probably should just get takeout to be safe.
