Description: Welcome to Erik's DeliCafe. There's been some changes since we opened in Scott's Valley in 1973, but what hasn't changed and never will is our commitment to our customers. Our pledge of a warm and inviting atmosphere, and quality food served fast with friendly service is practiced in our DeliCafes everyday. Sandwiches are made with high-quality meats, savory cheeses, and fresh produce. I love this place for lunch. The sandwiches are large and the bread and meats always fresh. It's fast and delicious.

We have eaten at the store's old location across the street many times, but had not had an opportunity to try out the new place. Stopped there for lunch with our grandson the other day, and found the new store to be cramped, somewhat dark, and a bit claustrophobic.
Many new items on the menu, but we stuck with old standbys that were also a let down. While the tomato basil soup was still great, the sandwiches (Abbots Habit and Sea Dog) left a lot to be desired. Meat in the Abbot was tough, and the sea dog (grilled tuna and cheese) was a soggy mess.
To many changes for us - so while parking may be easier in the new location, and the are now outside tables that offered a change, we won't be back.

Only go here for carrot cake take outs. Whoever their vendor is... They have the right combination of carrot and walnuts. Cake is always moist and yes delicious!! Carrot cake lover for this chain 20 years plus and counting!

One great thing about this place is their gluten-free bread. Not very many places have that option. My wife had a nice sandwich, and I had a Salsa salad. The salad was served on a great looking plate. The salad was very colorful, and very tasty. With our favorite Thrift store near by ( Savers ), we will be visiting here again.
