This is my first time here and it won't be my last. I ordered the Beef Tofu which came with egg drop soup, salad and a bowl of rice. The beef was already cut to bite size very convenient especially when using chopsticks. Along with the tofu and gravy this was a delicious eat. Lastly a piece of orange.

Nicely decorated with large round family tables. Food is consistently good! Favorite is Egg foo Yong. We do many "to go " orders here and order is always right! Friendly staff.

In the shopping complex across from Costco, Happy Garden is between Safeway and a Mexican restaurant, with plenty of parking. The restaurant front is plain; we thought it was a fast food/take out restaurant, but once we were inside we were impressed with the old Chinese traditional furniture including the round dining tables with matching chairs and an old 5 feet (?) horizontal scroll on the wall. We were greeted right away and sat at a round table for 4. Lunch time was still early, quiet, with 2 silent, mounted flat screen TVs on. Many take out orders. We got the house egg flower soup to start with ice water. The lunch special fish fillet with vegetables, rice & salad was fresh, hot and good portion. My BBQ port HK style chow mein with boy choy was just right. Next time we'll order a la cart to try the main menu's dishes.

Reasonably priced, good quality and elegantly served traditional Chinese food. Excellent and professional staff. The Sichuan Eggplant was delightful. Sesame chicken was also served with a delicious sauce and scored 5 stars.

A must try if you are nearby. Ask for the full menu if you are in the mood for special food.

This place is meh. Nothing special. The food is just ok, and ver expensive for what it is. We don't bother anymore.
