The place is very nice with the spacious room, private swimming pool and seaview.
However the staff specially at the receptionist is not welcoming, greeting us or smile at all. We may understand this at the check in process because there's a lot of guests that we had to queue but at the time I check out there's only me at the counter and all the staff were looking down until I approached them. Melisa assisted me with the check out. I gave her the room cards and she told me something about no bill to sign. And I asked her, "that's everything? " and she replied , "yes, that's it. " That's it melisa? Arent you supposed to thank the guest or smile? We've had a series of unpleasant incidents during our stay and if you could do the basic, at least we could go home feeling very pleasant and happy instead of feeling very bitter. Lexis hibiscus is a 5 star hotel but the services was not like one that we had at the other hotel. I really hope that the staff services would improve greatly and please engage with the guest.
Also, when we went to rent bicycles, there's no staff there and when I asked other staff that passing by, he told me to wait for 20 minutes because they went to eat. I seriously dont understand this. If you want to eat, at least leave someone there to assist the guest. You cannot leave the place with nobody.
P/s: Mr Azmil however has been kind to us and we appreciate that so much.
