I had a great experience at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson all thanks to Darshan A/L Bala Subramaniam. The duty manager whom happened to be on duty both days when I needed assistance during my stay. It was amazing and beyond words how Darshan (warmly known as Shan) made me feel like home and went out of his ways to ensure I have the best experience in Lexis Hibiscus. It was my first visit but will definitely not be my last. Truly 5 star service rendered by Shan.
Initially I had issues checking in as the new trainee staff at the counter was unable to locate my booking despite me providing my booking itinerary. Then, the trainee staff accidentally charged RM200 to my credit card for deposit when it was supposed to be an pre-authorisation to credit card. Next, the room keys were mixed up by the front desk (hotel lobby) and I had no clue if i was even given the correct room as per my booking.
Shan came to my rescue timely and assured me that I am well taken care of and promised to pay attention to all other details throughout my stay to ensure I do not encounter any further inconvenience.
During the night, my family and I were being locked out of my Hotel room because the door lock was faulty. While this issue has caused my family and I further inconvenience, Shan was swift and prompt in resolving it and also personally reached out to me in person to apologize and make correction to it. He empathise with my situation and I can feel his sincerity and genuinely wants to make things right for the Hotel guest.
Shan is indeed a rare gem. So much so that, an unhappy and discontented guest like me eventually became truly satisfied with the Hotel and it's services. As a form of gratitude to Shan, I have passed him my name card and promised him that I will be booking the Presidential Suite in Sep this year for my wedding proposal. Keep it up Shan! Thank you so much for everything.
