If in the Russian river valley, worth the drive here. Delicious variety of breads and scones, sweet and savory. Even a gluten free which does not disappoint. Sticky buns are huge and delicious!

This bakery is by far my favorite. Excellent choices and always a new bread or scone to try. The scones are out of this world . Always a stop when we are headed that way and sometimes even hop in the car and make a special trip just to get my fill of great quality and wholesome bread products.
Not really a place for a meal but for bakery treats.

We enjoyed the delicious fire baked bread when visiting friends for lunch then stopped on our way home to pick up a biscotti for the road. The one we’d devoured dipped in lavender liqueur left us begging for more. Forget the biscotti once we stepped inside the small shop. When I was handed the warm pear marzipan scone there was no chance of sharing or it making it home. Heavenly. Top marks!!

Whatever they bake here is worth taking home with you. Excellent! They have their own gardens out back, which are fun to tour for a few minutes. Not much seating inside, some benches outside. Don't be surprised if the place is crowded on weekends, because everyone stops here. They often have some decent art on the walls as well.

Do not be put off by the line. A lot of cyclists stop to get carbs and fuel. The bread is crusty and hot and fresh. the most legit bread... We ordered the Sourdough, the Walnut Levain and the Garlic Rosemary Bread. All were still hot and crusty. I have not had hot crusty bread since standing in line outside a Parisian bakery. The bread is dense and organic. Soo good and soo satisfying! This is what Semi-Freddi's and Acme were in the day when we had Wonder Bread! Worth the short wait and the staff is used to the chaotic lines. Closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hot, fresh, crust bread is a luxury. The dark chocolate hazelnut biscotti is wonderful and full of toasted hazelnuts. dessert! Not for the gluten-free.
