Room is small but clean. That's about the best I can say. Bed is worn out. Window curtain has holes in it. Room is very noisy. You can hear water running all the time. Road noise is quite loud. You can hear people talking outside. The ice machine is outside and is an old bin type. I could handle that, but it is covered in cobwebs.

I have stayed at several properties in G'ville. This one is just right for me. It is quiet, clean, spacious and a reasonable price. An easy walk to several restaurants. Good TV. Kindly owner on premises.

Room Tip: Room 23 is spacious.

Garberville is a very small town, but it wears several hats. As the hub of the more rural, Southern part of Humboldt County, it is intimately tied to an industry that flourished and died (logging), and another that flourished and is now dying (marijuana). Expect prices everywhere to be inflated by the influence of the latter.

The Humboldt Redwoods Inn is a basic, no-frills place to stay if you are on your own dime. The rooms are generally sufficiently clean (although they may smell of marijuana); the wifi is free, but too slow to be of much use. Revelers generally prefer the Humboldt House Inn at the other end of town, making the Humboldt Redwoods a better bet for a decent night's sleep.

To make a reservation during the day, call early, and expect a call back later in the afternoon. Or book through the web.

Just stayed the one night in transit and was pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable, and in a nice location on the edge of town with a nice breeze on this hot summer day. The manager was very accomodating and even gave me a mobile phone cable as mine had broke. Nice chap. Clean and good value. I would stay here again.

I was appalled at the amount of cobwebs and spiders found on the ceilings of my room.for such a small town I found it very overpriced.if you have small children watch out.everyone I ran into had been smoking and it wasnt cigarettes.there was no handicap avalability that I could find.good thing I can walk and dont need my weelchair flltime because there are stairs you have to climb and up to 50 feet you have to walk.would not recommend for anyone handicapped.guy at the front desk is nice but they dont stay there all night and dont get bac til 4 the next day so make sure you hav everything you need.

Room Tip: get there early because the whole town shuts down by 9pm
