Bacará is a beautiful hideaway resort in Santa Barbara. It is comprised of many multiple room villas located around the property. We had a suite in villa 6 overlooking the walk path and the ocean. Our room was spacious with two full bathrooms a sitting room with couch bed , tv, and a second balcony with lounge chair. The main room had a wood burning fireplace, king bed, jacuzzi tub, double sink spacious with louvre doors that open to the ocean. The balcony had a table and chairs for early morning coffee which is free in the lobby every morning as well as an upgraded coffee maker in the room.
Great walking paths all around the resort. Three huge swimming pools, jacuzzi, table tennis table, sandbox with toys for kids and chairs in it for kids. Restaurant pool and bar service.
Restaurants good and expensive with limited menus. Golf carts all around property if walking hills is an issue.
Overnight parking charge is high, valet car service whenever you drive in or out , resort fee, room fee, upgraded room fee, tourism fee. Are all added to your bill at checkout. Their fees almost doubled our stay costs. It is what it is. More
