I recently attended a conference here. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful, from valet to servers to staff members simply passing in the halls. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and clean. The property has multiple pools and plenty of activities. If I ever am back in the area, I will be staying here. A world class resort!

The hotel is beautiful and the pool area is about a 6/10. Checking in was a bit of a hassle, we had requested an upper floor with golf course view and ended up in a handicap room on the second floor right above the outside eating area. When we asked to change to a non-handicap room, the front desk person refused and said there was nothing she could do. After going round and round for an hour, the manager finally moved us to an appropriate room. Not a great first impression to make with a hotel guest. We asked if we could get a microwave for the room and were told yes - but they would charge us $20/day! Self parking is $12/day and everything else from the gift shop to the pool side dining is typically way overpriced for resort. $7.00 for an ice tea LOL! Just be prepared to be a little bit nickel and dimed at this place. The food at the outside-pool side dining was excellent. The wait staff was also excellent and very fast. The pools are not huge, but they are clean and nice to get in and out of. If you can get an early start, it's good idea to get your chairs because it fills up pretty quickly. We were usually out there by 8:00-8:15 to get our place. Any later and you are scrambling a little bit to find chairs - especially at the adult pool. We traveled with our teenage daughters and really enjoyed our stay with the exception of the front desk people. We did not add the regency club option to our visit, but would next time to have a quick place to eat breakfast and snacks. It would have been less expensive than eating at the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel will run you $65.00+ for four. If you plan on spending lunch time and snacking by the pool, budget about $60/day. The room we ended up with was fine. It was a double queen room on the 5th floor with a golf course view. It was considered a non-renovated room, but we honestly could not tell much difference between the first and second room we were in. The rooms are pretty basic with a small balcony and two chairs. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nicely appointed with a shower and a tub. I would not consider the rooms to be luxurious. The cleaning staff also did a very nice job keeping our room clean. Don't expect any surprise extras or good deal on anything at this resort, but overall - it is a nice place to stay and enjoy the pools and relax.

Room Tip: top floor and get access to the regency club.

We booked a room for spring break for 3 nights for our family of 4 (including two older teens). Upon arrival, we were disappointed that the room type/bedding arrangement we had specifically reserved was oversold and not available. At first they offered to move us to the correct room after the first night, but it quickly became apparent they still had no availability. The staff was gracious about the mistake and offered several perks to attempt to make up for the error. Still, we were having a difficult morning with all the hassle over the room issue when we went down to the pool to check it out. Courtney, a pool manager, noticed we were upset and asked us what was going on. Even though our issue was not in any way related to the pool, she set about to make sure we were completely happy resort guests. Despite having an extremely high occupancy at the resort, Courtney was able to get us cabana reservations for our stay so we could enjoy the peaceful, quiet vacation we were looking for. Courtney and another pool employee/attendant Elvira, checked on us every day to make sure we were having a great stay.

The hotel is beautiful and is in a great location. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The pools are ideal for families and the adult pool is truly a peaceful “oasis” if you want to get away from it all.

Thank you to Courtney and Elvira for taking care of us. We are eager to return for another vacation.

It was so Quiet, the staff and guests were friendly and so polite. They offer impeccable service, clean and beautiful. I will go back for sure. It was heaven. The adult pool area, the golf, the bell staff, the shuttle to golf courses were second to none.

Room Tip: Get a view of th3 golf course

All accommodations and service at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells were superb. The staff was always courteous and friendly; no matter what part of the resort you were in, from the door man, valet, front desk, domestic and wait help.
