First of all, it is a Hilton. So it has the quality associated with that brand. The bed was extremely comfortable!! It resulted in a very restful night of sleep.
Here are the issues that I did encounter:
-The balconies are an excellent idea. But they are very narrow. I would say the balcony is perhaps ten inches wide; ten inches away from the door.
-it is not clear how to lock the sliding glass door
-there is a sticker on the door indicating that it only opens four inches, but it opens all the way. I feel that if there is to be a balcony, it should be constructed such that one can safely walk out and stand on it.
-the rooms are smaller than some other Hiltons, notably the Hilton at LAX. The upgraded room where I stayed -- on the the 10th floor -- was large, but lacked the separate "living room" area that one has at LAX. It is good to have a table and two chairs, but I would like an additional table of some kind -- perhaps something that folds away -- which can be placed between the bed and the sliding glass door, so as to share a meal with someone else you have invited into the room.
Other than these issues, which I consider to be very minor, it is a good hotel, worthy of the Hilton brand.More
