We went early for dinner since other reviewers had mentioned it is a small place, which it is, but very friendly and a fun menu. My husband had the pork quesadilla which was delicious. I had the mac n'cheese with short rib meat. The meat was very tasty. The mac n' cheese was good - not fabulous but very good (needed salt which really improved the flavor). The fellow at the cash register was so nice - he could tell it was our first visit and he made us feel right at home. This very casual place and we would like to return and explore more of the yummy sounding options on the menu.

We had dinner last night at a top chef winner’s restaurant and our dinner was much better and much less expensive. The atmosphere was not as good but the service was was much better. The owner came by and explained the concept and menu. The server Joe was the best server I’ve ever had. She made great recommendations. We had the Caesar salad, pork belly tacos, chicken sammich, surf and turf grilled cheese, notorious PIG. All were fantastic. It was busy all night with locals who clearly knew what a great place this is. Joe knew many people by name.

On business travel and hotel recommended. Very tiny place. Get there early, be patient, or take back to your room. Had the Cuban, very good. Even better was their mac & Cheese with pork back (worth the wait). Oh yeah, I wait 45 minutes for my food, but staff was nice. Kept your drink filled. Mingled with local's. Nice little place to eat.

No frills restaurant, where effort has been made to cook and serve flavorful food. I had the jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and grilled with bit of char. Absolutely delicious without the usual breaded topping. The notorious PIG, smoked pork and pork belly pilled high served on a butted bun, large enough to feed 2. Excellent food.

While vacationing on the beach in Del Mar, California, friends in LaJolla recommended lunch at the Promiscuous Fork....fresh caught salmon tacos with fresh multi colored cabbage and avocado, as well as smoked pork carmelized onion con queso quesedilla are among the wonderful gastronomic creations.... free lemon infused water is the perfect beverage, complimenting the unique menu items....
A return visit is guaranteed....
