Our party of four dined here based on the recommendation of a family friend.
The restaurant is relatively small and cozy. There was live music that was a wonderful addition to the ambiance of the venue. It was very busy, so reservations are very much recommended. There was not an obvious dress code, as some were dressed for fine dining and others were dressed quite casually, in nice shorts and shirts. The price-point was on par for fine dining.
Our appetizer was quite tasty: onion battered fried green beans with a cucumber wasabi dip: light and crispy with a great kick of spice. Our entrees were varied: braised beef, cannelloni, mediterranean chicken pasta and specialty pasta with lamb shank. Dessert was the chef's homemade ice cream and fruit cobbler. All was wonderfully prepared and enjoyed. The food portions are generous: the homemade bread served at the table is wonderful! You will not walk away hungry!
Considering the price-point at this restaurant, one would hope to see a bit better service. The servers were very attentive, but almost too much so. At times, our party felt rushed, as servers would attempt to remove plates before all of our party were done eating.
Over all, this was a wonderful, warm restaurant that served amazing food! It was a wonderful dining experience that was good value.
