I was traveling to Lodi for ZinFest and decided to stay in a B&B for the first time. I have to say I think I'm pretty spoiled on B&Bs now! I loved having such a large, cute room and my own bathroom (the house was built in the early 1900s so it's full of charm but with modern amenities like private bathrooms for each bedroom).
When I arrived I was greeted by Lillie and Blake who gave me a tour of the house and let me feel very at home and comfortable. A complimentary bottle of wine as well as cheese and crackers were waiting upon my arrival. I stayed in the downstairs Champagne Room which felt private and quiet, and got nice light in the morning when I lifted up the shades. The house itself was peaceful, which was nice after a long travel day, and the next morning's breakfast was yummy and at a great hour. Lillie and Blake gave me some great tips for where to check out downtown and made me feel at ease about navigating the town while traveling alone. When I'm back in Lodi I'd definitely stay again!
