Ludo Lefevre and Friends have a winner here. One would think that with the high-powered chefs behind the Trois empire, this would be a high-end, stuffy, ego-driven eatery. Instead, it's a light-hearted, fun, imaginative, creative kitchen where almost anything goes and culinary surprises are welcome (like the chicken milanesa topped with pickles and shaved cucumber which was unlike any milanesa I've ever had - and I've had plenty since it's one of my favorite dishes).
Trois Familia combines Mexican, French and Asian touches in new ways that are a treat for the palate. It's open only until 3pm at present so it's mostly a breakfast/lunch place. It's usually packed and it's first-come, first-serve (you put your name on a list and wait outside until space is available). Well worth the wait, if any.
