Stopped in while shopping in Marina, you first have to go to the counter and order and then they bring your order to your table. The portions are large, could not finish mine, so brought it home for another meal. Prices are in the $8 to $10 range plus $2.39 for fountain drink if you want one. All in all, enjoyed the place, it is sort of small so tables hard to get at lunch time.

We decided to order all of the same things that we'd enjoyed a few weeks ago at another Teriyaki Madness in Great Falls, Montana (which was excellent!). The Marina experience did not come close to comparing. The sauces were the same good flavor and quality, the spicy chicken and tofu were good, but the chicken katsu was dry, the rice was mushy, the macaroni salad was tasteless and the vegetables were overcooked. We threw most of our dinners away. This place needs a pep talk. These are easy fixes.

For a "fast food" restaurant, each meal is freshly made and cooked to order. The selections may be small, but the combinations are plentiful. You start by selecting your protein which includes Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Chicken, Chicken Breast Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Tofu Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, and Chicken Katsu (breaded with Japanese Panko); then add steamed or stir-fry vegetables, and then choose between white or brown rice, Yakisoba noodles or fried rice.
There are side dishes of macaroni salad (Hawaiian style), green salad, Endamame, Eggrolls, Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Potstickers.
You can taste the freshness, since the dishes have not been sitting in a warming tray. I tried the Orange Chicken which was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The Chicken Teriyaki was very flavorful, and the chicken tender and moist. The teriyaki sauce was not over-whelming, however, additional sauce is provided if you crave more.
The portions are generous and the staff friendly and courteous. It is worth the wait for the fresh and flavorful dishes served at Teriyaki Madness. Avoid the wait, order online or call in your order.
